GOLDEN Week?

I hope you are enjoying the holidays. So far, I have been having a great time;

1) Our Giants are leading the league at the moment. Yeah!
2) I played golf today in this beautiful weather and broke "100" for first time in this year.
3) My Ai-chan is in a good mood as usual.. So cute!

Having said that, there was one bad thing happened to me yesterday.
I felt sick when I was watching the movie "Babel" with my friend Karlton in Yokohama. It didn't last long time, however, I was upset to feel dizzy and to have headache because I knew it had something to do with the movie. Karlton sent me an email and let me know about the article. http://www.japantoday.com/jp/news/405440

Dear my friends, please be careful not to get sick if you are going to watch "Babel".
By the way, the movie was quite dipressing...

Oh well, we still have more holidays coming up this week. Maybe I should go see some other movie to cheer me up.

Have a good ones!

I golf. Therefore, I live.

There are a lot of things to do for fun.

For me, after rooting for Giants, playing golf is the best thing to do when I have a day off. In a beautiful golf course, you can enjoy not only hitting a ball, but also everything which comes with it. Enjoy the conversation with your friends, the weather (beautiful sun shine, smell of wind/rain), delicious food after golf etc..

Also, you can play golf in every where you go. It is just like learning English I think. You will be able to have many good friends once you learn it.It is hard at the begging, once you know how to hit, you will be able to have good time. You don't have to be very good to enjoy.

Today was my first day to join the golf club in Ferris. Asaka and her friend Yoko came to experience the practice with me, so things were much easier for me. (Thank you, Asaka-chan). Everyone in the club was so nice to freshmen. They are so cute, in fact!! I will think about being a part of them. Let's see how things are going to work out for me.

Those of you, who are interested in playing golf, let's go join the golf club together!

To my precious friends,

I am so lucky to have great friends, not only in Japan but also in all around the world.

Lacey and Chris are those kind of friends you never want to lose.

I met Lacey and Chris in 2004 in Tokyo, Japan at the Miss International Pageant. There were 52 Misses from all over the world. Lacey was Miss Australia 2004. Yes, she is beautiful, brilliant, and lovely person. She always organize things with heart.

We became close friends since she stayed in Fujisawa, Japan after the pageant in order to stay with her fiance, Chris. Chris is really fun to be with. Great basketball player!! He is fluent in Japanese so that people in Japan always fall in love with him (especially old ladies do!). When Lacey and Chris are together, I can't stop laughing. They are always making jokes. Anything of all, They are so much in love. Just spending time with them makes you feel happy.

Past 4 years, (wow! Lacey, it's been 4 years now) we had so much fun together. In Fujisawa, Yokohama, Costco, New Castle, Australia, Mikawa-ichinomiya...
Going out for shopping, sight seeing, visiting families, watching basketball games, watching cables forever, doing potato couches...
Words can't express how deeply I am appreciated to have them as my friens. Thank you soooo much

At the moment, they are all the way in Boston.
I miss them so much!

I am sincerely looking forward to having Chris' favorite SUKIYAKI with Lacey and Chris again. No matter where it will be, I will be there to cook for them.

Best Wishes,
Your friend,

Riko

TGIS! (Thank God It is Saturday)

After spending several weeks of new life as an university student, my body (not soul) is exhausted. I am sooooooo happy to be home on Saturday night. Maybe it is a bit different feeling to other students 'though..

Anyway, I am enjoying my weekend. What I did today were nothing special; going back to sleep after the breakfast, doing laundry, going to the nail salon, getting an artmake, going to the golf range, and playing with Ai-chan (my adorable toy poodle!) By the way, you will have to hear a looooot about Ai-chan later on in this blog. I am crazy about her..

I am not really sure what we are expected to do by next class, so, those of you who know(s) about the assignment due next Caleb's class, would you please contact me! In another wards, I need help!

Have a great weekend!

My name: Go G!

My blog name is "Go G!" because I am an enthusiastic fan of Tokyo Yomiuri Giants. I mean.. REAL fan of Giants. Not many people are real fans because they usually keep changing their favorite team. How I became a Giants fan has a lot to do with where I am from, how I was raised and who I am.

I was born in Tokyo, Japan where the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants' is from. I am not reffiering to how long ago this time 'though. Anyway, I was born as a only girl in my family. After two monster boys (my older brothers), I reached to my parents as a princess. Everyone in my family has been loving me so much and they still do. I am lucky, am't I
Since my father and my older brothers are Giants fans, they took me to the baseball stadiums to watch Giants games. That's how I am used to those guy things. I love Giants becase I am born to be a Giants fan.

Last year, I worked for an event called "Nagashima Japan Dream Project" in Tokyo Dome.
There were former baseball players of the Japan national team 2004 for Athems Olympic games. I was so happy to see those star players like Uehara, Yoshinobu, even Ogasawara (he was belonging to Fighters then) .

I will talk about what I have been doing for work and why I came to Ferris later on.
It is really exciting to have my own blog here.
Thank you for having this procedure in the class, Caleb!
